- Dice bacon and render over medium low heat in sauce pan. Once bacon is crisp, remove from pan. Reserve the rendered fat.
- Add flour to create a roux. Whisk in the apple cider and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and allow to thicken for ten minutes.
- Finish gravy with maple syrup and reserved cooked bacon pieces.
