What is our mission?

We strive to reduce Sysco's carbon footprint by effecting change in those areas we can influence the most. By focusing our collective efforts throughout the supply chain, we can significantly reduce our impact on the environment.
  1. By limiting the chemical inputs used for agricultural production of the products we procure. 
     
  2. Through reducing the pollutants we create and the energy we consume by the movement of our goods. 
     
  3. By evaluating what we do from farm to fork, we have identified several areas with opportunities for effecting the greatest change.
